Grade 8 & 10 Scholarships
Once again, we are delighted to be offering scholarships to outstanding candidates in Academics, Music and Sport.
At St Mary’s we believe in giving every girl the opportunity to be the best that they can be. Our girls are given the tools to make the most of their talents and are encouraged to take advantage of all the activities on offer. We offer scholarships to a limited number of exceptional candidates entering Grade 8 and 10 at the Executive Principal’s discretion.

Scholarship Criteria
Academic:
Minimum of 85% aggregate for end-of-year results, plus 85% for English and Mathematics.
Music:
Instrument and Voice candidates: Minimum Grade 3 level in at least one instrument and/or voice. Shortlisted candidates will write a theory paper and will audition with one piece as well as sight reading and aural.
Sport:
Provincial/district representation in one or more of our core sports; Hockey, Netball, Swimming, Tennis and Water Polo
All candidates must submit an application form to be considered. Thereafter a scholarship form will be sent to candidates to complete and return. Scholarship candidates who meet the above criteria will be invited to complete our Placement Assessment on campus and those who are shortlisted will be interviewed.
